PLM WINDCHILL TECHNICAL TEAM LEAD – LISBON

About the role

Join an international industrial group that is accelerating the digitalization of its production sites to bring more efficiency, quality and connected use cases to its operations.

As PLM Windchill Technical Team Lead, you will be the technical reference for the CAD, CAM and PLM Windchill platforms used by around 15 production sites. These tools support product design, engineering and manufacturing processes across the whole product lifecycle.

You will lead a team of 12 people, in a newly created position within an Agile and international environment.
 
 

Your responsibilities

• Act as the go-to reference for the CAD, CAM and PLM Windchill platforms.
• Lead, develop and motivate a distributed team of internal experts and external consultants.
• Be a hands-on technical leader: able to step in yourself and to get your team to step in on critical topics.
• Drive technical implementation projects and roll-outs across the production sites.
• Ensure corrective and evolutive maintenance of the platforms, with a focus on performance and scalability.
• Manage P1 incidents and lead troubleshooting activities.
• Implement cybersecurity requirements.
• Handle the platforms from end to end: upgrades, evolutions, monitoring and support.
• Make sure the solutions respect architecture and security standards.
• Work closely with Product Owners on priorities and planning.

Required skills and experience

• Solid hands-on knowledge of the PLM Windchill platform (mandatory).
• Significant experience in technical team management, ideally with internal and external team members.
• 5+ years of experience in platform operations or a similar role.
• Strong development skills in Java.
• Scripting skills in Python or PowerShell.
• Experience with AWS cloud.
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerization.
• Experience with monitoring tools, such as Datadog.
• Proven knowledge of the SDLC and deployment pipelines (CI/CD).
• Experience working in an Agile environment (mandatory).
• Familiarity with VDI technologies, especially Citrix.
• Experience with Oracle databases is a strong plus (Windchill runs on Oracle).
• Knowledge of Creo, GitLab CI, Vault or JFrog is a plus.
• Fluent English is mandatory. French is a plus.
