Mandated by one of our clients, an international company located in BARCELONA OR MADRID, we are seeking for a PYTHON BACKEND developer
CONTEXT
-
As a Backend Software Engineer, you will be pivotal in developing and maintaining backend applications within a dynamic, cloud-based infrastructure. You’ll play a crucial role in enhancing services that span various domains like risk prediction, property insights, cyber security, and more.
- Backend Development & API Design: Utilize Python to build scalable, efficient backend solutions and design robust APIs.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure, including serverless technologies like AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Build and maintain automated pipelines (CI/CD) using tools like AWS CodeBuild and AWS CodePipeline to streamline software deployment.
- Security Practices: Incorporate industry-leading security practices to protect data and ensure secure access.
- Database Management: Work with SQL and NoSQL databases, ensuring data integrity, performance, and scalability.
- Identity & Access Management (IAM): Implement IAM practices for secure authentication and access control within applications.
- Asynchronous Programming: Develop high-performance backend applications by leveraging asynchronous programming techniques.
- Expertise in: Python backend development, API design, AWS serverless technologies (AWS Lambda, API Gateway), and CI/CD tools (AWS CodeBuild, CodePipeline).
- Skills in: Managing SQL/NoSQL databases, Terraform (IaC), asynchronous programming, and IAM practices.
- Familiarity with: OpenAPI standards, automated testing, and agile methodologies such as Scrum, Safe, or Kanban.
- Bonus Skills: Experience with MongoDB, Auth0, SAML2, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and secure/regulated environments (e.g., insurance or banking).
- English: FLUENT
