Siemens Opcenter Expharma Business Consultant
Location: Paris, Lyon or Barcelona
Contract: Freelancer
Start date: December 2025

Mission
Provide L2–L3 support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement for Siemens Opcenter Expharma (MES).
Ensure stable operations, compliance with GxP, and effective coordination with end users, vendors, and cross-functional manufacturing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver expert support on Opcenter Expharma, including: PIProcess, audit trail, Equipment, MBR, WO/Task resolution.
- Perform L3 debugging for application and infrastructure-related issues.
- Conduct daily production monitoring, incident analysis, and workaround design.
- Write and execute SQL queries to support functional activities and data corrections.
- Coordinate with vendors on incidents, problem records, and long-term fixes.
- Lead daily MES support meetings and communicate status/workarounds to business users.
- Propose process improvements to reduce recurring operational issues.
- Manage master data: MBR creation, item master, configuration, script creation/modification.
- Conduct training for new systems, processes, or releases.
- Resolve incident tickets and service requests in line with ITIL best practices.
- Ensure strict adherence to GxP and manufacturing quality requirements.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, automation, and IT stakeholders to maintain compliance with MES processes.
- Support interface and integration topics with other manufacturing systems.
Must-Haves (Knockout Criteria)
- Expertise in Siemens Opcenter Expharma (hands-on).
- Strong experience in PIProcess, MBR, Equipment module, audit trail.
- Demonstrated L3 support experience in MES environments.
- Solid SQL querying skills (incident fixing, functional data support).
- Work experience in pharma or regulated manufacturing (GxP environment).
- Understanding of ITIL (incidents, problems, changes).
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience coordinating with multiple vendors and offshore teams.
- Knowledge of integration between MES and shopfloor/automation systems.
- Experience in script development/modification within Opcenter.
- Prior exposure to digital manufacturing / Industry 4.0 projects.
