CLOUD GCP ENGINEER

Mandated by one of our clients, an international company , we are seeking for an CLOUD GCP ENGINEER The position can be located either in MEYRIN

 
RESPONSABILITIES:

• Contribute to the definition of standards and good practices on the cloud foundations
• Work hand in hand with projects and products counterparts to guide them through the cloud transformation within the company by using automation.
• Engage with stakeholders to discover opportunities and improvement points, map vision & requirements to specific products and components.
• Actively participate in the standardization of our architecture offers and contribute to the implementation of complex and smart automation and infrastructure as code.
• You will work with a multicultural stakeholder (Maisons and markets) and for a great company in the luxury industry.
• You will actively participate in Conferences and Summits concerning cloud providers’ technologies and provide guidance and feedback regarding technologies available in the market.
• Opportunity to travel and participate in best of market vendor event.

 
PROFILE:

• Deep understanding of GCP is required. AWS, Alibaba, and Azure (Azure AAD) are a plus.
• Experience as a Cloud Engineer.
• Experience as building landing zone at scale in a global and multi-cloud environment.
• Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and Terraform Enterprise.
• Excellent communication skills and autonomy into following task and assist projects.
• Good analytical thinking and skills to report efficiently to a wide audience.
• Strong understanding of Agile/DevOps operating model with experience and passion to work in a fast-paced Agile environment
• delivering features in small time duration and utilizing automation whenever possible.
• Any experience with data engineering is a plus.
• Experience with coding and scripting, including Python and BASH.
• Deep understanding of SDLC processes, cloud operations and support (ITIL) service delivery with hands-on ability to implement best practices or suggest improvements.
• Experience with Kubernetes. Anthos is a plus.
• Experience with design and implement API interactions through the code
• Good knowledge on cloud security framework
• Basic knowledge of FinOps
